With this process your rusted or corroded parts are simply blasted and cleaned as required. Your parts are then ready for collection or they can be powder coated if required.
Vapour blasting is a less aggressive general cleaning system using water and glass beads that can be used on any surface but is particularly suited to aluminium.
This process is excellent for carburettors and engine cases etc where it is preferred that the appearance of the original material is retained.
This coating provides a hard wearing finish that requires a strict method of preparation prior to the application of the powder. A full range of colours is available.
The Modern Alternative Finish For Many Items
All parts are initially blast cleaned, acetone dipped and then sprayed.
Cerakote is a much finer spray finish which is then oven baked to create a hard wearing surface finish.
Cerakote Ceramic Finish is ideally suitable for calipers, carburetors, engine covers, handlebars and exhausts.
Despite the strength of the finished surface the coating is thin enough to sit within threads etc. eliminating the problems of a surfacebuild up that may cause problems when refitting accessories. Cerakote is available in a range of colours.
